Partner Network

150+ Vetted Suppliers.
Zero Guesswork.

Every supplier in our SEA network is sourced, audited, and continuously monitored, so you get consistent quality whether your order runs through Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, or Vietnam, without managing multiple vendor relationships yourself.

Regional Footprint

Where our suppliers are, and why it matters.

Singapore HQ. A vetted network across Southeast Asia. A US presence for American teams.

Singapore HQ

Engineering, operations, and account management are based in Singapore, where every order is reviewed before it's matched to a supplier.

150+ SEA Suppliers

Vetted manufacturing partners across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, audited for quality, capacity, and IP compliance before they join the network.

U.S. Presence

A Colorado Springs office gives American engineering teams US-timezone support, without the lead times or tariffs of sourcing from China.

How We Vet Every Partner

Five stages before a supplier ever touches your order.

Every supplier goes through the same process, whether they're based in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, or Vietnam.

01

Outreach & Screening

We identify manufacturers meeting our capability and quality bar, then invite them into a structured onboarding process. No supplier joins the network by simply signing up.

02

Capability Assessment & Sample RFQ

Each candidate is assessed against ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications, then issued an RFQ for a sample part matching their claimed expertise.

03

Trial Production

The candidate manufactures the sample part end-to-end, using the same digital platform, quality documentation, and delivery process as a real customer order.

04

Quality Assessment & Formal Agreement

We evaluate the trial part against our standards for dimensional accuracy, finish, and documentation. Suppliers that pass are formally onboarded into the Partner Portal.

05

Ongoing Evaluation

Every order after that is tracked. We monitor performance metrics on new suppliers' first jobs and conduct on-site visits to verify standards hold as volume grows.

Why SEA, Why Now

The case for sourcing outside China.

As of June 2026, the numbers make the decision for you.

2026 Tariff Comparison

Singapore (via Factorem)
10%
China
~25-40%

Import tariffs into the United States as of August 2026. China's effective rate varies by product category and has shifted repeatedly this year, roughly 25-40% depending on classification, while Singapore's 10% baseline has stayed flat and predictable, making it a cost-competitive, lower-volatility option for US-bound precision manufacturing.

IP & Legal Protection

Singapore's legal system and NDA enforceability are on par with Western markets, English-first courts, not a workaround.

English-first

Certified Quality Standard

Every supplier in the network is held to the same ISO 9001:2015 standard, TÜV SÜD certified, the bar photonics and defense buyers already expect.

ISO 9001:2015

Common questions about our partner network.

You get one point of contact and one quality standard instead of managing multiple factory relationships yourself. Every supplier is pre-vetted to ISO 9001:2015, and Singapore-routed orders carry a fraction of the tariff exposure of direct China sourcing, a stable 10% baseline vs. a China rate that's varied roughly 25-40% depending on product category through 2026.

SEA is our primary recommended network for US-bound orders because of the tariff and lead-time advantages above, but we also maintain vetted supplier relationships in China for cases where it's the better fit, specific process capabilities, existing tooling, or orders not bound for the US. We'll advise which makes sense for your specific part.

China+1 means diversifying part of your manufacturing outside China rather than relying on it exclusively, usually to reduce tariff exposure and supply chain risk. Factorem's Singapore-based network is built for exactly that: a stable 10% baseline instead of China's more volatile ~25-40% effective range.
